Virgin Atlantic flight back!!!!!!

A crew member is recorded saying to air traffic control that they had a "medical issue with one of the pilots after a laser incident after take-off".He said the incident happened six to seven miles west of Heathrow.The VS025 flight returned "as a precautionary measure", the company said.Metropolitan Policetweeted: "Aircraft forced to return to Heathrow after being hit by a laser strike... #laserstrike CAD4."In a statement Virgin Atlantic said it wasworking with the authorities to identify the source of the laser.It said: "The VS025 travelling from London Heathrow to New York JFK flighthas returned to Heathrow as a precautionary measure due to a laser beam incident."The safety of our crew and customers is our top priority and we apologise for any inconvenience to those onboard."All customers will be offered overnight accommodation and we will get them ontheir journey as soon as possible."
