Ladbrokes make it an odds-on shot that a North London club wins this season’sPremier Leaguetitle with the firm going4/9about such an eventuality.The Gunners remain the outright favourites, shortened from 15/8 to11/8, after their last-gasp victory over leaders Leicester cut the gap at the top to just two points.Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs outfit are hot on the heels of their bitter rivals with the bookmaker slashing the odds on a Tottenham title party to13/5from 9/2.At the start of the campaign the Lilywhites were 150/1 to land a first Premier League crown and an even bigger 500/1 back in September.However, their priceless 2-1 victory atManchester City has provided another gripping twist in an already sparkling season.It’s not all bad news for Leicester though, as despite Arsenal’s late winner the Foxes only drift to 10/3 from5/2.Fan Jon Pryke rejected a pre-match cash out offer of £20,000 for his £20 wager at 5000/1 and when surveyed 63% of Ladbrokes’ Twitter followers urged him to take the revised figure of £12,000 post match, while Leicester were in to as short as 6/4 for the title after taking the lead at the Emirates in the first match.Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Wenearly ran out of chalk changing the title odds today but as the dust settles the North London clubs are the big winners while City’s odds take a massive walk. Despite losing the game in the last minute the betting still suggests Leicester remain firmly in the hunt.”He added: “Leicester have taken all ofthe underdog plaudits this season but it’s worth remembering Spurs had triple-figure odds at kick-off so a Premier League victory for them will still be a brilliant outsider’s story.”
