NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal a surprise fan as he wishes Northampton Town good luck as the Cobblers chase League Two glory

Northampton Town are well placed at the top of League Two, five points clear with a game in hand, the kind that of form that will welcome all sorts of admirers and theydo not come much bigger, literally, than basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal.The NBA superstar, who retired from the game in 2011 with the Boston Celtics, was a physically imposing center, standing over seven foot and weighing 23 stone, sent a surprise video to the Cobblers, wishing them good luck, along with the promise of visiting the Sixfields stadium.Famed for his colourful personality during a glittering 19-year career, O'Neal now owns the Florida-based Shaq-Fu radio station and is in business with Kelvin Thomas, chairman of Northampton.
