Loan spell are making of me

Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin has said he believes his success at the club isdown to being taken out of his comfort zone during loan spells at Lorient, Freiburg and Charlton.Midfielder Coquelin said that although he always had faith in his ability, the lessons he had learned while playing for other clubs had made him ready to take the chance to play for the Gunners when it arose."It was a great learning experience. Arsenal is a great club -- a massive club. But you are kind of in a comfort zone as it is such a big club, you have all the facilities,""To go away, go abroad and see a different culture and different football, helped me a lot and I came back stronger."In 2014, Gunners manager Arsene Wengerchose not to renew his loan to Charlton asMikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere were all suffering injury problems.Coquelin made his debut for later that month, and has since started in 32 Premier League games for Arsenal."I've always had belief in myself -- I didn't think it would happen that quickly as I was on loan quite a few times, but when I went back I always had my belief," he said."When the manager gave me my chance, Igrabbed in with both hands and did the maximum I could to help the team."
