Kenya international Michael Olunga has sent a video request to Arsene Wenge
The striker currently plies his trade for Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League, netting 19 goals in 27 league games during the 2015 season. He also played in four CAF Champions League games, but failed to score.Now, Olunga has recorded a video to profess his desire to play for the Gunners.“I’m currently the best player in Kenya. I’ve scored 38 goals all season,” the 21-year-old said. “My dream is to play for Arsenal. Ihope you’ll consider my request to come there and maybe join your feeder team, if not the senior team. In the coming years, I’ll be sure to repay your faith.”One of Olunga’s international teammates is a Premier League star, in Southampton’sVictor Wanyama. The defensive midfielder had himself been linked with a move to Arsenal last month (via theMirror), and recently shone in a 0-0 draw at the EmiratesWanyama’s excellent ability and imposing presence is perfectly suited to the division,though his temperament has been questioned, with no Premier League playermatching his total of three red cards this season.As for Olunga, Arsenal’s current options in the centre forward position comprise of Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott.
