Cahill calm
The club captain missed Tuesday's 2-1 Champions League last-16 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain and it isunclear whether he willbe fit to return to the squad for Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round tie withManchester City.Cahill partnered Branislav Ivanovic in the heart of Chelsea's defence in Paris and will have no issues playing alongside him again if Terry is unavailable in the future."I played with Iva in thePremier League and in the (2013 Europa League final) and was successful, so I don't see it being a problem if John's not available,"Cahill told espnfc.com. "Ideally we would have everyone available, all our strongest players."Let's see with John. But I've played with Ivain big games before, so I don't see it being aproblem."Despite conceding twogoals at the Parc des Princes, Cahill was pleased with the performance and is hopeful they can progress to the quarter-finals."We worked hard. It’s areally tough place to come and play. From start to finish it was hard but when you have dug in as much as we did and defended really well throughout the game, Ithought 1-1 would have been a terrific result to go back to theBridge with," Cahill stated."So we’re disappointedwith the goal at the end but nevertheless there were positives totake."We know at the end ofthe game it’s only half-time. We know what we have got to doat home. 1-0 takes us through."We know they are confident at home and we have seen what they have been doing in the league and in Europe, but it’s a different place to come to Stamford Bridge."Everyone tries to take their opportunity when they’re playing at home and the away goal is massive. Finishing the two legs at home is an advantage for us."
